Julio Panisello and The Havisham Hour

This is Julio Panisello. I took this picture at his studio in downtown L.A. last September.

That is when I first heard of his Miss Havisham project. Here is a description of the project from the website:

“GREAT EXPECTATIONS by Charles Dickens: 513 pages, 513 days, 513 sketches, each published daily along with a brief journal entry exactly at 8:40 AM, The Havisham Hour.
The project started Monday, January 7th, 2013 and it will end Tuesday, June 3rd, 2014 for a total of 1 year, 4 months, and 27 days.”

You can hear Julio explain the project in his own words:  Julio Explains The Havisham Hour

I was honored to be asked to read Page 264.

THE HAVISHAM HOUR: reading of page 264 by NOEL OLKEN, posted Friday September 27th 2013 at 8:40 AM (PST)

Please check out this fascinating project and consider supporting it by listening and sharing.
