Happy New Years everyone. Here is another update about the short film Aloneness by Gulnara Mirzakarimova.
The film is now streaming on the website. We had our first festival screening in New York City on 12/21/15. We are waiting to hear from 13 more festivals submitted to for 2016.

There, you can also see Gulnara’s second short, Collage.
Gulnara and I co-produced, and we both acted in it, but she also wrote and directed it. And shopped for craft service. And built the website. Geez, does she ever sleep?
Aloneness was a great project to work on. For one, Gulnara wrote the role of Matt with me in mind after we met in acting class at Ivana Chubbuck Studios. That was a first for me, and I was honored to accept the role and come on board to co-produce.
Next I was able to work with long-time collaborators Circus*Szalewski (actor) and Steve Gibons (composer) and William Coleman III (DP) and meet some wonderful new collaborators as well.
